Whether you're learning about deescalation for the first time or you'd like a refresher and opportunity to talk shop, this session's for you! Deescalation helps us to recover instructional control and minimize disruptions to student learning. This session features modeling videos created by staff at a Setting IV behavior program + opportunities to discuss the nonverbal and verbal techniques used by school staff, law enforcement, and other fields that require deescalation skills.
