NBAPS Wellness Day 2026

This session will provide a review of the impact to educators when coping with challenging emotions, behaviors and situations of students. Discussion of the impact of supporting students with trauma and review of self-care and community care and how it can mitigate these impacts. In addition, Several practical strategies of how to reduce the impact of vicarious trauma and stressors that occur in educational environments will be provided.
