About me
I have an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Hamline University, where I also earned my Masters of Arts in Literacy Education. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education from MSU Moorhead. Most recently, I was a Title I teacher at East Central where I wore many hats, including interventionist, literacy coach, and one year teaching a section of High School Spanish. Previous positions include classroom teaching (1st, 4th, middle school math and social studies), ADSIS interventionist, and elementary Spanish specialist. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and playing board games. I play bar trivia on a team every week, and I've lived in two states besides Minnesota (Georgia and Texas).
